I started DJing when I was 17. At the time, it was mostly because it was the only way I could get into nightclubs in my hometown. I stuck with it because I genuinely love music and there is no bigger buzz than seeing people have a good time dancing to the songs you’re playing.

After moving to London 14 years ago, I started putting on my own club nights. Since then I've DJ'd all over the city, playing everything from indie and pop to RnB, hip hop and emo nights. I've never been interested in sticking to one genre. Good music is good music.

Weddings came about almost by accident. People who came to my club nights started asking if I'd DJ their weddings, and from there most bookings came through word of mouth. Friends recommended friends, guests recommended me after weddings, and it gradually grew into something I now do alongside my club nights.

These days, between being a father and a Deputy Headteacher, there are fewer 3am finishes than there used to be. The club nights have taken a bit of a back seat, but I'm always dusting off the headphones for a good old knees up.

I've been lucky enough to DJ weddings across the UK, as well as destination celebrations in Greece and Croatia. Whether it's a London warehouse, a village hall or a beach overlooking the Adriatic, the aim is always the same - read the room, play the right tunes and keep people dancing.

I don't just turn up with a pre-made wedding playlist. I'll spend time getting to know what you like, what you don't, and the songs that mean something to you.

When the lights come on and people are asking for one more song, that's usually a good sign we've got it right.
